All About Germs with Mrs. King
"Eeeeeeewwwww! That's gross! Germs are nasty. Your hands are dirty. I don't like the germs" were all comments that we heard during Mrs. King's germ lesson. Mrs. King wanted up to know the importance of washing our hands, especially during the cold and flu season. She gave us a special hand cream to rub onto our hands. Then she used a black light to show us all the pretend "germs" that were on our hands. We practiced washing our hands while singing "Happy Birthday to the Germs" two times. We rubbed the fronts, backs, in between our fingers and around our nails. When we were finished washing, she used the light again to show us what a good job we did! We also sang a germ song, played with some puppets, and got a special award at the end.
